About

Jan Saß is a Ph.D. candidate at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. He started his Ph.D in 2023 after receiving his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer science with an emphasis on mathematics from the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. The topic of his master thesis was "File System Development for Zoned Namespace SSDs", which remains an active interest of his. His other research interests include file system development and distributed storage networks.
