Eric Rodrigues Borba is a visiting Ph.D. student at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. He has been a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE/Brazil) since 2017. He graduated in Computer Engineering from UFPE in 2012 and received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Science in 2017 (UFPE). His research interests include formal models, performance and dependability evaluation of distributed systems, cloud computing, Petri nets, machine learning, and data storage systems.
